Imagine trying to drive from your home to a destination 1000 miles away, without a map, directions or an address. You might see some great things along the way and maybe you would get their eventually. But it wouldn’t be the most efficient way to get where you are going quickly. A successful job search is at least as complex. If you’re attempting it without a strategy, you may make progress and you may succeed eventually but it’s not the fastest, most effective way to get hired.
