Functional Resume

Emphasizes job abilities/objectives/experience in action verb sentences without regard to times and dates. The functional type is noted for:

People re-entering the work force, first time job seekers, and changing careers.
Hiding gaps in work history, terminations, demotions, many jobs.
Transferable skills can be emphasized regardless of work history.
Not repetitive, however employers do not prefer this format.
